Our History
Our business, Wilkinson fuels was based at 54 solly street in Sheffield city centre in the 1920s, then moved to it’s new location at Foxwood farm Intake in the 1930s. We’re proud to be a fifth generation family owned coal merchant, and we still deliver the same standards of customer care today as we always have done.
We are officially an approved Coal Merchant, and a member of the coal merchants federation. We sell only high-quality coal, smokeless and wood fuels – to ensure that you achieve the highest possible heat output and efficiency from your fire, stove, or appliance. Given our history, you could say that coal’s in our blood – and naturally our experts are more than happy to advise you on the best form of fuel for your individual needs.
